Introductory Provisions

1. Summary: Under the purchase contract, we undertake to deliver the goods and you undertake to pay the purchase price. Details: Articles 2–6 (conclusion of contract, price, payments, delivery, withdrawal) and the Complaints Procedure.
2. Consumer contract: These terms and conditions apply to consumers (natural persons acting outside their business activity). Otherwise, relationships are governed by commercial law without consumer protection.
3. Legal framework: The contract is governed by these terms and conditions, the Complaints Procedure, instructions on the website, and Czech law (Civil Code, Consumer Protection Act, etc.).
4. Agreement to the terms: By submitting an order, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms and conditions.
5. Changes: If any provision becomes invalid, it shall be replaced by a provision as close as possible in meaning. The terms and conditions may only be amended in writing, and the wording effective at the time your rights and obligations arise shall apply.

Purchase Contract

1. Conclusion: By placing an order through the web interface and our acceptance of it (by email). The presentation of goods is informative and does not constitute a legal offer.
2. Submitting an order: By completing the form, reviewing the summary, and pressing “Complete Order”. We consider the information in the order to be correct — please notify us immediately of any changes.
3. Cancellation/change: You may cancel or change an order that we have not yet accepted. After acceptance of the order, changes are possible only by agreement.
4. Confirmation: You will receive acceptance of the order by email — the contract is concluded upon delivery of this confirmation; if the confirmation does not arrive, the contract is formed upon receipt of the goods.
5. Text form: We will send you the contract by email or, upon request, by post (postal costs may be charged).

Price

The listed prices are valid at the time of ordering. Errors in displayed prices (obvious technical errors) do not bind the seller to deliver at the incorrectly displayed price.

Payment Terms

• Payment methods: online payment card/payment gateway, bank transfer, cash/payment card on delivery.
• Due date: in the case of cashless payment before delivery, within 7 days of order acceptance; payment is considered made when the amount is credited to our account.
• Advance payment option: we reserve the right to require payment of the full price or a deposit before dispatch (§ 2119 para. 1 of the Civil Code).

Delivery Terms

Shipping methods and costs are listed on the website; you choose the specific option during checkout. Goods in stock are usually dispatched within 2 business days (for cash on delivery or after receipt of payment).

Acceptance and Liability

Please inspect the packaging upon receipt. After acceptance, the risk of accidental loss passes to you. If you refuse a shipment due to damaged packaging, this is not considered an unjustified refusal.

Consequences of Non-Acceptance

If you unjustifiably fail to accept the goods, we may claim reimbursement of costs associated with delivery and storage; in the case of advance payment, we may sell the goods ourselves (§ 2126 of the Civil Code).

Withdrawal From the Purchase Contract

The consumer has the right to withdraw without giving any reason within 14 days from receipt of the goods (for multi-part deliveries, from receipt of the last part). This right does not apply in cases specified by law, in particular to goods made according to the customer’s requirements or adapted to their personal needs.

For goods made to order according to the customer’s wishes or custom-adjusted, it is not possible to withdraw from the contract or return such goods without giving a reason.

A customer purchasing under a company ID number does not have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving a reason, because this right applies only to consumers. A purchase made under a company ID number is considered a purchase within the scope of business activity and is governed by different rules.

Consequences and Return Procedure

1. Withdrawal cancels the contract from the outset. Use the sample form or contact customer support.
2. Return the goods within 14 days to the delivery address (not cash on delivery). Include proof of purchase and the completed form.
3. The refund will be made within 14 days of withdrawal, preferably using the same payment method by which the payment was received, unless otherwise agreed.

Damaged Returned Goods

If the returned goods show a reduction in value as a result of use beyond what is necessary to inspect them, we reserve the right to claim compensation for the reduction in value.

Rights Arising From Defective Performance

Your claims arising from defective performance are governed by the relevant provisions of the Civil Code and our Complaints Procedure. When making a complaint, follow the instructions in the Complaints Procedure.

For goods made to order, it is not possible to make a complaint regarding properties, parameters, or execution that exactly correspond to the customer’s approved specification. This does not affect the buyer’s statutory rights to complain about actual defects in the delivered goods, if such defects occur.

Additional Information for Consumers

• We hold the appropriate trade license for sales.
• Complaints are handled via info@scentics.cz or by phone.
• Consumers may use out-of-court dispute resolution, for example through the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (ČOI) or via the European ODR platform.

Website Registration

By registering, you create a user account, and you must keep its details accurate. The account may be cancelled in the event of a breach of the terms and conditions. The account is used for placing orders and managing your details.

The content of the website is protected by copyright. It may not be modified, copied, or distributed without consent. We are not liable for third-party interference with the website or its misuse.
